Animal Birth Control Clinic

Mission:
The Animal Birth Control Clinic provides access to affordable spay/neuter and preventative veterinary care. With financial support and collaboration, the health and safety of our community is improved while enriching the lives of cats, dogs and their families.
Volunteer Duties:
Assist the medical team (veterinarian and veterinary technicians) as they provide preventive veterinary care or assist the clinic with non-medical tasks.
Volunteer Requirements:
Volunteers must fill out an application and be at least 17 years of age.
Training:
All training is provided, including a half-hour personal tour and basic orientation.
Time Commitment:
No standard time commitment. Ideal volunteer hours are Monday-Friday, 8:15 am-4:45 pm. 
Group Volunteering:
Groups of volunteer teams are needed to help with special community projects.
Recommended For:
Students in the fields of veterinary technology, nursing, pre-med, biology, sociology, public health, business, and computer information systems. 
Benefits:
Volunteers gain hands-on experience in a number of areas, while improving the health and safety of animals and humans.
